Nina’s Fund is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.

Mission:
Nina’s Fund’s mission is to empower individuals through charitable giving in the areas of the arts, humanitarian and social justice efforts, as well as projects that address violence against women. 

Vision: We strive to promote education, understanding and compassion.

We provide:
• Financial support for grassroots organizations and individuals who share our values, mission and vision.
We do not:

•Accept unsolicited proposals.

Board of Directors:

Morten Nilssen, Taos, New Mexico
Morten has devoted most of his life to supporting the arts in one way or another since high school in Oslo, Norway. He has extensive knowledge of non-profit management and organization after many years of work in leading positions within Theatre, Music, Film and Fiber Arts . He is currently Executive Director at Taos Youth Music School

Joleen Montoya Dye, Taos, New Mexico

Joleen is a co-director and college counselor at the Bridges Project for Education where she has worked for the past five years with families through the college admissions and financial aid process.  Prior to her time at Bridges, Joleen was the Executive Director and founder of Evolving Creative Opportunitites Arts Center, a community based arts center for youth.  She has worked in the non-profit sector for thirteen years, mainly in the areas of youth development and the arts.

Kate Nilssen, Taos, New Mexico
Kate is a fiber artist, weaver and fabric designer. She is currently a partner in Nilssen Weavers, Taos, New Mexico

Etai Freedman, San Francisco, CA
Etai was raised in Haifa, Israel and relocated to the Bay Area at the age of twenty. After completing his MBA in non-profit management and working for several food advocacy and civil rights organizations, Etai joined Burning Man in 2014. He credits his decision to become a non-profit professional to his relationship with Nina, who was his roommate and friend for many years and was there for him when he needed someone.
